trndmsk Future Stars #30: Anatolian Sessions – Mjora

About a month ago, Anatolian Sessions recorded his contribution to trndmsk’s Future Stars series. “I compiled the mixtape “Mjora” in my own studio”, says the music producer from Istanbul. He’s constantly surrounded by ethnic and mystic themes when producing music: “The theme of this set is the arrival of spring”, further referring to the Iranian New Year celebrations Nowruz. “I chose energetic, amusive and mystic tracks.” The artist’s favorites included in the mix are his remix of Tuğçe Kurtiş‘ “Yıldızların Altında”, Zigan Aldi‘s “In My Face”, and the Hraach remix of “Boarding Call” by DAVI. “Other than that, I am busy with a lot of projects going on. I will release a remix on Exotic Refreshments and am currently working on an EP for Souq Records due to be released this summer. Furthermore, Ready Mix Records will release some remixes of “Devrambel”, a track of mine.”
